C3 International is a Dutch social enterprise producing affordable and sustainable 30 m2 housing units, using either steel frames or second-hand sea-containers. We are the cheapest supplier of mini-homes in the Netherlands and currently producing 250 units per year. As lack of affordable housing is such a challenge in many cities of this world, we are also working hard at internationalizing our approach. Key to how we work is to integrate the (often vulnerable) client groups in our production chain giving them a chance to gain work experience.
We are currently exploring partnerships specifically within Western-Europe and Southern Africa.
